Father God is Love

Jesus is the image of the invisible God and the exact representation of God's nature. Col. 1:15;Heb. 1:4
The nature of the Father is the same as that of Jesus:He is love. And because God is love, everything He does is out of his love for us. We don"t have to perform for Him or live a life of perfection in order to gain his approval. Even when we sin, Father still loves us, and He longs to be the One to whom we run for comfort and forgiveness. God is love, and His perfect love casts out all fear. Everything Jesus did on earth, including His sacrificial death on the cross, shows us the Heart of the Father-a heart of love and compassion, not one of wrath and judgment. When we have an accurate understanding of the nature of our heavenly Father, we don't have an unhealthy fear of Him; we don't have to jump through hoops to earn His love. The religion of fear will have no hold on us, and even when we sin, we can still crawl up into the lap of Father God and seek His love and forgiveness. I am so grateful for the whole "soaking" thing, just taking time to "crawl up into Abba's lap and receive" Thank you Jesus for coming and showing us the way to Father! Abba, wake up our hearts with the fire of your love!
